Closest sandwich shop to the apartment — very cheap, very good, and no wait. The Norcino (€8) is spectacular, and the orange juice (€3.50) is the cheapest around. Also does lunch plates. Popular with locals.
Tell Gui I sent you. Possibly the best gelato, cheese, and wine you'll have in Europe. Reasonably priced. Good music. Great location. A modern masterclass in agricultural cuisine.
Outstanding, reasonably priced tasting menu featuring excellent food and wine from Lazio, and an extraordinary Amatriciana claiming the #2 spot in town.
Be on their website at 11:59 pm Italy time exactly one month before the day you want to eat there or you will not get to eat there. Definitely order the Amatriciana, it’s the best in town. The other stuff is just good, and the menu is heavy on offal.
